The Oscar noms are in.I can't tell you how over Benjamin Gump I am, and how Slumdog's shiney bollywood vaneer is cracking and showing cliches (though I'll take it over Button any day).
I'm not one of those fanboys who are going to rail about Dark Knight being snubbed for picture and director. The third act of the movie, to me, always killed its chances.
It looks like two of my favorite films of the year actually got little to no love at all: Happy-Go-Lucky and In Bruges (which is now on dvd!).
